All-Holiday Cocktail

in Entertainment & LifeStyle/Weekly

What better way to celebrate the holidays (Halloween Parades, Thanksgiving Dinner, New Year’s Eve) than with a champagne cocktail?

Here’s an easy recipe that can be used to share a toast (or three) for any day you choose! Don’t have Moet on hand? Just grab your champagne bottle of choice, and make sure it’s cold.

Ingredients:

4 Sugar Cubes (brown sugar is best)
1 Bottle Angostura Bitters
1 Bottle Champagne (COLD)
Garnish of choice: Lemon, Orange, or Grapefruit Twists

Directions:

Start off by taking a single sugar cube, and while holding it over the opening of a bottle of Angostura bitters, invert the bottle so that some bitters soaks directly into the sugar.

Drop the cube into the bottom of a chilled Champagne flute, and then fill the glass with Champagne.

Garnish with a lemon, orange, or grapefruit twist!

Each process makes one drink, so repeat as necessary.

Cheers!
