VEGAS STILL A PERFECT QUICK TRIP
AMAZING COSTA RICA

With winter and spring flying by, we now find ourselves gearing up for summertime- the busiest travel season. All around the world CEO’s, students, stay-at-home moms are putting together the perfect summer getaways to ditch the everyday hustle bustle and head to their favorite destinations. Whether it is a quick weekend trip or a month long vacay, finding the best spot to escape to can sometimes be tough.
If you’re looking for a real getaway, Costa Rica is an amazing and affordable trip to consider. Located in Central America, the lush rainforests and flora and fauna do not disappoint. To get the most out of the trip, try to stay at least 2 weeks to experience all the country has to offer from rainforest tours, zip lining, water rafting to multi plaza malls, local eateries and farmer markets. Summer in the US is their rainy season however, so if you are looking for nothing but laying on the beach in the sun, head on down to Cancun or Los Cabos instead.
If you are pinched for time and just need a quick getaway- you can never go wrong with Las Vegas. You can often find awesome Groupons for local deals on hotels and entertainment to save your money for the casinos!
A good tip to remember when traveling: be careful with purchasing tickets several months in advance. Tickets purchased 3 or more months in advance typically have at least 3 major schedule changes before your trip- meaning the flight can go from landing at 8am to landing at 10pm and you will find yourself losing out on a full vacation day. Now I know what you’re thinking, “But the tickets are so much higher if I wait closer to my departure date!” You can actually find the best fares offered typically 3-4 weeks prior to your intended departure, with very few, if any schedule changes.
So, where will you find yourself this summer? Write into us to tell us your favorite summer getaways. Safe travels!

You cannot go wrong when you go Vegas. When me and friends need a quick getaway, Las Vegas is always our go to. It’s just far away enough to escape our everyday lives on the weekend and you can be satisfied with your stay even if you’re only there for an overnight trip. I found a great deal on a last minute ticket (which you can find basically anywhere to head to Vegas) and stayed at Planet Hollywood on the strip. We were only there for the weekend so when the plane landed at 7pm we went straight to the hotel to freshen up and hit the strip, the next day tried some local eats on the strip instead of the expensive buffets in the casinos. The trip including air fare was a little over $350, which many people are surprised to hear because they think it’s so expensive to do Las Vegas. Try your luck and
